The Shape of Desire?

With gratitude for the presence of a sublime other, I dissolve beyond boundaries and fall deeply in. In the instant of a single glance and shared understanding, senses resonate through the eyes, and even breath finds harmony. Embracing one another, we fill each other’s gaps—willingly giving of ourselves to let the other overflow. In the certainty of feeling truly alive simply because of “you,” a warm devotion blooms like a flower, leaving behind an endless resonance.

This desire can take infinite forms, but it often rises rapidly from a state of lack, then slows as it becomes fulfilled—settling into a natural state of ‘existence’. Love begins only at the end of desire. In today’s world, where capitalist perspectives have deeply infiltrated, countless screens and algorithms convert charm and appearance into scores, prompting us to calculate and protect ourselves first. Yet the moment our sense of lack is gently filled, all those calculations dissolve like ripples. At first, this desire rises quickly (E1), igniting a fire; but as understanding deepens and the other is embraced, love gradually shifts from ‘desire’ to a state of shared existence with one person—until the graph quietly converges toward one. This desire shares a similar nature with the element of 'fire', ‘water’, and ‘earth’, so the color of this element would be applied through a subjective lens.

숭고한 대상의 존재에 감사하며 경계 없이 스며들며 빠져든다. 한번의 시선과 이해가 되는 순간, 눈빛 하나로 감각이 교감하고, 숨결마저 조율된다. 서로를 감싸며 부족한 틈을 메우고, 기꺼이 자신을 덜어 상대를 가득히 채운다. ‘당신’라는 이유만으로 살아 있음을 느끼는 확신 속에서, 따스한 헌신이 꽃처럼 피어나 끝없는 여운을 남긴다.

이 욕망은 경우의 수가 무궁하나, 대개 결핍에서 빠르게 치솟고, 충분히 채워지면 속도가 누그러지며 자연스러운 ‘존재’ 상태로 머문다. 그래서 사랑은 욕망의 끝에서 비로소 시작된다. 자본주의적 시선이 파고든 오늘날, 수많은 화면과 알고리즘은 매력과 외모를 점수로 환산해 우리로 하여금 먼저 계산하고 방어하게 만들지만, 결핍이 부드럽게 메워지는 순간 그 모든 셈법은 잔물결처럼 가라앉는다. 처음에 빠르게 이 욕망이 증가하며(E1) 불이 타오르고 이해하며 상대방을 수용하는 현상은, 시간이 흐를수록 사랑은 ‘욕망’이 아닌 한 사람과의 존재로 남아, 그래프는 1에 조용히 수렴한다.

본 욕망은 오행 중 ‘화’,’수’,’토’적 성질이 주축으로 기능할 것 같기에, 본 성질의 색감을 참고하여 주관적으로 적용될 것이다
