The Shape of Desire?

The moment crossing the fence, my heart beats stronger. Wind gathers at my feet, and all the weight and oppression of the world vanish—blinding me in golden sunlight. A single deep breath becomes wings, and my soul soars freely toward the endless sky. Everything that once confined me fades, and my steps become light and swift like the wind. Fear shatters, and the electrifying sense of liberation surges through me, tracing a vivid arc across the boundless sky.

As social beings, humans reflect their culture through rules and customs. The greater the oppression, the more dazzling freedom becomes—and once we’ve tasted it, there is no return. No matter how abundant our daily lives may be, the longing for ‘broader possibilities’ never fades. Capitalism slips into this gap, wrapping countless products and services in the illusion of liberation. With a single button, we feel connected beyond thresholds; with a single subscription, it seems as if the chains of time and space fall away. The sweet illusion that convenience is freedom seduces us—but that desire returns not with fulfillment, but with an even deeper thirst. And so, we reach once again toward an endless horizon of liberation. This desire shares a similar nature with the elements of ‘water’ and ‘wood’—symbols of vitality that flow freely and grow expansively. Therefore, colors inspired by these elements will be subjectively applied.

인간은 사회적 동물이기에, 규제와 관습은 우리 문화를 비추는 거울이 된다. 억압이 클수록 자유는 한층 더 눈부신 욕망이 되고, 한 번 그 맛을 본 순간 되돌아갈 길은 사라진다. 일상이 아무리 풍족해도 ‘더 넓은 가능성’에 대한 갈망은 꺼지지 않는다. 자본주의는 이 틈을 파고들어, 수없이 많은 제품과 서비스에 ‘해방’의 포장을 씌운다. 버튼 하나면 문턱 없이 연결되고, 구독 한 번이면 시간과 공간의 사슬이 끊어진 듯 착각하게 만든다. 편리함이 곧 자유라는 달콤한 환상이 우리를 유혹하지만, 그 갈망은 만족 대신 더욱 큰 목마름으로 되돌아와—결국 우리는 끝없는 해방의 지평을 향해 다시 손을 뻗는다.

본 욕망은 오행 중 넓고 자유롭게 뻗어나가려 하는 생명력의 상징인 ‘수’, ‘목’의 성질과 유사하여, 본 성질의 색감을 참고하여 주관적으로 적용될 것이다
